Qiuzzes and Assignments throughout the Semester.

           Actually, it does not really matter which one; however, it’s really important for me to have both of them in one semester in different classes.
            If I have to choose between having tests, quizzes, and homework assignments throughout the semester or having only midterms and finals, I would choose the first choice for two reasons.
          First, it helps me to study throughout the semester, not only a day or a week before the test. That works for me because my short-term memory is better than my long-term memory.

Second, if I had an emergency and I could not study for the test or I could not come to the school, that will not effect my grades, because I have another chance to make it up.

 

Spring Break 2013.

           This Spring Break went by fast. I thought one week will be enough; however, it was not. I did nothing special. I want to the beach twice, and I saw The Call movie. Also, I went to San Diego with my friends who I have not seen them since August. We spent two days shopping, eating, strolling around the city.
         Since I got sick the last three days, I stayed at home to relax and to get enough sleep. I wish I have slept more, but I did not. Sleeping is the best way to get your energy back and to start studying after the break.

         This Spring Break was really what I needed after studying two consecutive months<3

DREAM JOB

 

I love to be a fashion expert. I love anything that is related to fashion. I like to give my friends makeover. When they feel bored and unsatisfied with the way they look, they always ask me to give them suggestions. They ask me what to wear if they have a special event or how to do their hairstyle or what appropriate jewelry for each clothing style. I feel so happy to do that. However, my weakness is that I don't know which colors suit skin tone. I don't know why! Maybe because I like to wear colors depends on my mood no matter if it suits my skin or not. Also, the most important thing for me is I keep in mind that what I wear should be comfortable not just fashionable, and not all fashion trends are meant for everyone. Basically, I want to be a teacher as my main job and why not to be fashion expert too.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The End..

       The young man saw, and without hesitation, walk to the right-handed door and opened it. He was pretty sure that the princess knows where the right door is, however, she didn’t. Each of them has different opinion. She wanted him to marry another women instead of dying, but the young man preferred dying instead of living without the princess.

     In this situation the king was thinking if the young man really loves her daughter or just because she is the king's daughter. That was his point.

 

     Before the young man opened the door, the king asked him: What do you want to be behind the door? The young man did not answer for a while then he said: If I have to choose, I want to die and not to marry another woman,no matter what is behind the door, I will love you daughter forever. The king was impressed by his answer because he was very honestand brave.

 

     After that the young man was walking closely to the door. He was very calm and relaxed, however, the princess was extremely anxious and worried about the fate of her love. When he opened the door there was nothing behind it. He just saw a letter and it was written by the king. In the letter the king wrote:

       Now I'm sure that you are really love my daughter, and you will sacrifice yourself for love. I can trust you to become part of our family.

 

     Finally, the young man married the princess and they lived happily ever after.

The Ability of Reading People's Minds

      The superpower that I would like to have is the ability of reading people's minds. The reason why is because there are a lot of fake people who have two faces, so that will help me to know exactly what they truly think about me, and how should I react in a right way. Second, It also helps me to know who to trust. For example, when I want to buy a used car that will help to know if the seller is saying the truth about his car or he is lying. However, this superpower could be annoying sometimes in some situations because I don't want to know everything that people are thinking about. 

Who Am I..

       My name is Norah. I'm from Saudi Arabia. I'm a graduate student. I managed to finish my bachelor's degree in 4 years. My major is Education. I'm planning to study Education Administration for my master's degree. Once I get my master's degree, I would like to work at the university as a teaching assistant. I chose this major to help students to improve their knowledge about education. Also, education is an important element in human's life because people need to learn new things constantly to develop their society.

       I like Italian cuisine. Pasta, pizza and fettuccine are my favorite dishes. I like Italian food because it contains a lot of vegetables. Also, I like Mediterranean food such as hummus and chicken kebab. I have tried to be vegetarian but I couldn't. It was too hard to abstain from eating meat at all. However, one day, I hope that I will be able to do that.
  
     Shopping is one of my favorite hobbies. I love fashion design. I have taken some courses when I was in high school. I can draw simple ready to wear and haute couture sketches. Elie Saab and Balmain are my favorite designers. Also, I like walking on the beach listening to Celine Dion songs because her songs' lyrics contain deep meanings.

      Actually, I don't like watching movies so much. My favorite movie when I was young is " The Sound of Music". However, l like some of Disney cartoons such as Pocahontas, Peter Pan, The Little Mermaid and Aladdin.
